The First Step is an Energy Audit of your Home!

The Audit determines if there are any opportunities to reduce your energy consumption while checking for potential health and safety concerns.

The Audit Includes:

  • Capturing digital images—WITH INFRARED THERMOGRAPHY!
  • Utility Bill Analysis.
  • Gas Leak Detection and Combustion Safety Testing.
  • Solar Opportunity Analysis.
  • Blower Door Testing and House Pressure Diagnostics.
  • Written summary of findings and recommendations.

The Home Energy Audit Basic Fee is $350. (Fee is based on single family detached home up to 3,500 square feet.

Additional Services Fee is $300 which includes:

  • Computer modeling (required for NYSERDA Home Performance with Energy Star program participation).
  • Processing NYSERDA HPwES program participation application from start to finish.  
  • A second Blower Door and other testing after energy-saving improvements are installed.
